From the set
You can attend every day. It's like a gym.
The more you put into it, the more you'll get. Work out on camera every day! It's a muscle you need to work on as much as you can. You'll gain confidence as an actor, which will help you make stronger choices.
Everything is on camera, and you get a copy of your work. I'll have sides at the studio, or you can bring your own. It's your time. In addition to demo reel footage, you have the option to create an ongoing series we can film every month. And I'll list it on IMDb for you. This will give your résumé more depth.
There's no logical reason why your classes aren't recording your scene work. Everything needs to be on camera, and you need to watch yourself. The goal is to build a solid group of actors to help grow the company with. Be prepared to film a lot!
The location
A house, not a classroom.
Back in the day, I had a huge studio and it was awesome. But for filming, a house seemed like a better idea. So I got a house this time. The comfort level is better, there's a kitchen so we have snacks, and most importantly, free parking. If you've been to LA, it's a thing.
The filming options are endless. We can film apartment and house scenes, office and restaurant sets, an outside bar or café, and a bunch of other stuff. You can bring your own set dressing, or I can do it for you. I'm on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist daily looking for set pieces.
All self-tapes are recorded on high-end cinema cameras and cinema lenses with professional sound and lighting. Check out my equipment here. Self-tapes are done in San Antonio, near downtown.
